You’ve chosen the date and location. Now it’s time to spread the word and invite others!
1. Add your World Day of Prayer 2025 service day and time to your church website. This makes it simple for others to join.
2. Phone the offices of local churches and invite them to your WDP service.
3. Email local pastors/ministers/priests with an invitation. Your own church office and/or leaders may have a list of email contacts.
4. Send a poster to local churches and ask them to place it on their boards and/or websites.
5. Consider adding your service location, date and time to the service map available on wdpcanada.ca. Go to https://wdpcanada.ca/service-locations/ to add your information.
6. Create an article for community newsletters.
7. Invite community leaders who may or may not be attending church.
8. Use social media such as Facebook or Instagram to spread the word.
9. When you are speaking to friends and neighbours, invite them to your World Day of Prayer service. People like personal invitations.
10. Let everyone know about the national online service on Saturday, March 15 at 1 pm EST. Find out more at https://wdpcanada.ca/get-involved/events/.
