I’m Caroline Voitovici – your new World Day of Prayer Program Coordinator.
I have spent the last 35 years working in television. After graduating from Radio and Television Arts at TMU, I was fortunate to work on several iconic shows- including Polka Dot Door and Saturday Night at the Movies. I spent the last number of years working in children’s television- my true love. I have always had a passion for creating children’s content that sparks the imagination in the kid in all of us. And I have a secret crush on Cookie Monster.
I live in Pickering with my husband and two sons. I love to garden, bake and play the occasional game of pickleball. Most of the past 15 years have been spent in countless hockey arenas throughout Ontario cheering my boys to the occasional victory.
Having retired from broadcasting, I was looking for my next adventure and wasn’t sure what that would look like.
I am passionate about supporting and empowering other women, and WICC’s grants and commitment to advancing women’s social justice initiatives align closely with my values.
As I begin this new chapter, I think of Colossians 3:12—
“Clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.”
I am continually reminded that how we serve others is just as important as the work itself. Leading with kindness, patience, and compassion can have a profound impact on the lives of those we encounter. It is through these values that I hope to make a meaningful and lasting contribution.
