I have been looking back and reviewing the history and traditions of WDP.
I have also been imagining and envisioning WDP 100 years from now!
Will the women of the world still be praying? Will God still be providing?
Yes, is my faithful answer and prayer!
The 100th anniversary T-towel says it all for me! It is a symbol of the hospitality of women gathering to worship and work together through informed prayer and prayerful action. It speaks of the fellowship of the table and the communion we share worldwide as we gather to Worship. It also speaks of the work of washing up, cleaning up, and caring for humanity.
The 100th Anniversary Worship and Service video is a testimony to how far we have come in communicating and connecting WDP to the people around the world.
In praise of the past, and with wonder about what the future holds for WDP, I wrote this poem to express what WDP means to me.
