After faithfully serving for four years, Nell DeBoer has retired as a WICC Board member.
We will be forever grateful for Nell’s quiet and competent assurance, wisdom, and leadership by example on the Board and the chair of the WICC Membership and Nominating.
The Women’s Inter-Church Council of Toronto are especially thankful to Nell for faithfully supporting their efforts by attending meetings and World Day of Prayer services across the city.

A Message of Farewell from Nell
After being involved for years in our local World Day of Prayer, what a privilege it was to serve on the WICC Board.
It was a pleasure to work with our Board members from all the different denominations across our land and learn from them.
It was also very touching to discover that it (WICC) all started more than a 100 years ago in my hometown of Lindsay, ON.
Due to COVID we had only one wonderful opportunity to be together in person, in one of my favourite meeting rooms at TST. All other meetings were held on Zoom.
I want to thank all the Board members, and especially Cath, whom I had the privilege of meeting a few times in person.
