We are pleased to welcome Latha Mitchell as the new Office Administrator at the Women’s Inter-Church Council of Canada (WICC)!
Latha brings with her a strong background in accounting, financial administration, and non-profit operations, with years of experience in both the financial services and logistics sectors. She has served in roles ranging from billing and bookkeeping to project coordination and grant writing — always with a deep commitment to precision and purpose.
While her professional journey has taken her through a variety of industries, Latha says that joining WICC has been a deeply fulfilling chapter:
“Here at WICC, I truly feel like I’m making an impact in the world — especially in the lives of women. Being part of this mission brings a sense of satisfaction and purpose I’ve never felt before. I’m so grateful to be surrounded by such kind, helpful, and inspiring colleagues.”
Latha is passionate about supporting women impacted by human trafficking and dreams of contributing meaningfully to their rescue and healing. She describes herself as a go-getter — honest, kind, and deeply driven by love and compassion for others.
Outside of work, you’ll find Latha happily in the kitchen cooking up delicious meals, knitting cozy creations, or travelling to discover new cultures and communities. She also volunteers as a Bible class teacher, combining her love of faith and education in service to children and families.
We are excited to have Latha on the WICC team and look forward to the impact her dedication, skills, and heart will bring to our shared mission.
